About Me
I am a Full-time Mother, wife, chauffeur, chef, personal assistant, housekeeper, boo-boo doctor, playtime jungle gym, teacher for a growing 2 year old mind, handywoman, and personal coach. I might have forgotten one or two occupations!
I've had my share of Corporate world workings and loved the hustle and bustle of that environment. I enjoyed having people depend on me to get things done, but I love my current jobs and the people who now depend on me to get things done even more: two daughters and a husband.
I designed this blog originally to keep in touch with family and friends, but along the way I developed an interest in thrifty shopping. I have never been one to stick to a budget, let alone create one! Fortunately, that's where my wonderful husband comes in; he created a weekly grocery budget to include toiletries, not just food items. At the end of the grocery week, the money we do not spend will go into our summer activity fund. This fund will be used for purchasing summer bridge activity books for our elementary aged child, summer museum activities (the art classes are expensive here), bowling, skating, swimming, and any other activities we can think of. So, you are the lucky ones who get to go along for the ride as I try my best to stick to spending $100 or less per week! Although I'll do my best to share my bargains, that's not the only thing you'll find here. I also enjoy sharing a story or incident that may happen in my life. Not everyone will relate to what I share, but I'm sure there is ONE person out there who may be experiencing the same kind of day or have already experienced it! It's always nice to know that you're not the only one out there.
Aside from the occasional sharing of life experiences and thrifty deals/shopping, you will find reviews and giveaways. My family and I enjoy being able to share reviews of awesome products or services; having a giveaway is even more exciting!
If you would like to contact me for reviews, giveaway hosting, advertising, or questions please send an email to tdahaam(at)yahoo(dot)com.
Thanks for checking out my site!
